How to add your e-mail account to Outlook Express

First have your account info on paper to refer to.

You will need your full e-mail address and password.
It may help to print these instructions.

  • Launch outlook Express and goto Tools > Accounts.
  • On the right select Add > mail
  • Now you will be prompted to enter the Name that will appear in the e-mail as from: as in your full name.
  • Then put in your full e-mail address as name@therosenquists.com
  • click on next
  • Next, enter the e-mail server names for the POP3 account
    use mail.therosenquists.com in both places.( incoming and outgoing )
  • click on next
  • now you enter your account name (full e-mail address) and password
  • click on next
  • now you almost done, click finish
  • You will see the new account, it may show as mail.therosenquists.com
  • double click on it and change the display name,
    I like to just copy the e-mail address below and paste it in the top window.
  • Now click on the servers tab and check the box at the bottom left (My Server requires authentication)
  • Click the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 26
  • Click ok at the bottom.
  • Click close

All done, try checking your mail first, then you can compose and send an email.
Note! when you compose an e-mail you can select which e-mail account to send as, at the top of the page.

You can change your password by going to therosenquists.com/webmail/ and select Change Password.
